About our Grant InTake Process
The Bulkley Valley Health Care & Hospital Foundation funds grants to help bring needed equipment and health-care education opportunities to our region—supporting better care close to home for patients and families across the Bulkley Valley. These grants are made possible through the generosity of our donors, the support of our sponsors, and the hard work of community volunteers who give their time and energy to strengthen health care in our communities. Every gift, large or small helps turn local generosity into real, practical impact.
The deadline for submission is May 15 to have your application considered in June and November 15 to have your application considered in December.
The Bulkley Valley Health Care and Hospital Foundation reviews and considers all applications. To be selected to receive funding your application must be a health care initiative taking place within our catchment area (Witset to Topley) and must be an equipment purchase or educational in nature. In order to receive a grant, your organization must have a charitable registration number.
Submit your funding request online or print and submit via email to: ed@bvhealthfoundation.ca
Funding requests are reviewed twice a year. Deadlines to apply are 4:00pm November 15 for grants reviewed in December and 4:00pm May 15 for grants reviewed in June.
Applicants will receive a letter to the address they provided on their application letting them know the outcome. This is to allow for the requesting of more information, quotes, etc, if needed.
Late applications will be considered an early submission for the following intake.
Quotes must be provided for your project or equipment. Please attach a quote in PDF format to your application.
